Mid-Columbia Libraries

The Pasco Library remodel project was an extensive $300,000 remodel of the interior of the library which included a new in-floor power distribution system for more than doubling the computer capacity, a new server room, as well as re-configuration of two main desks into a single-desk. The project updated the library to modern library standards, including self-checks, a Wi-Fi area, new finishes throughout, and additional interior designs. Additionally, Arculus acted as the owner's representative in coordinating work with the general contractor. Library closure dates were kept to a minimum. Arculus worked with the City of Pasco, the second client, providing project management and interfacing directly with maintenance personnel to meet the standards and expectations. This project was extremely successful as a result of working with the contractor to phase the construction in such a way that library staff was able to complete their scheduled work.
